Survival strategies in the plant kingdom are diverse and fascinating. Despite their sessile nature, plants have evolved various mechanisms to ensure survival in different environments and protect themselves from predators. One intriguing example of such adaptations is observed in Lithops, commonly known as “flowering stones” or “living stones”.
