Five years ago, Science Reporter gave me the chance to write about the third Cosmos series, which was initiated by Carl Sagan in 1980, Cosmos: Possible Worlds, produced by Ann Druyan and presented by Neil deGrasse Tyson. After this fruitful exercise, there came an opportunity to visit the United States of America in May 2025 and pay tribute to the legacy of Carl Sagan in different locations associated with his life in New York state, in New York City and Ithaca.
