Sarcastic Fringehead The Fish that Kisses its Enemies

One of the strangest fighters in the ocean is the sarcastic fringehead (Neoclinus blanchardi), well known for its fierce territorial behaviour and unique way of defending itself. They are small yet incredible saltwater fish. 

As the name suggests, the "sarcastic" part attributes to their extremely aggressive personality and "fringehead" refers to the little, fringe-like appendages above their eyes. Although sarcastic fringeheads can grow up to 12 inches long (30.5 cm), most of them are 3 to 8 inches (7.6-29 cm) in size.
